Congratulations to Coach Shelly Jones for being this week's Spirit, Pride and Honor award winner! She has been working really hard on this year's Pink Out shirts! She has also stepped up to the plate and become a tremendous asset to our AVID program this year! Coach Jones is making an impression on her Volleyball players as well by bringing then together as a more positive and cohesive team!

The Burnet FFA Land, Range and Homesite teams competed at the Area 7
Fall CDE this week in Blanco, Texas. We are super proud of all of these students and their efforts. They have worked extremely hard this Fall and it paid off for them. All three teams went up against some tough competition. The Land and Homesite teams are both new teams added this year.

BHS had a fantastic turn-out for FAFSA night! We are so proud of our students and families for getting this important college-ready piece checked off their lists!

Next Wednesday, October 10 at 7:00 pm the Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host the third annual Fields of Faith at Bulldog Stadium. This year's speaker will be former Bulldog basketball player, Zakk Revelle.

The EDC won 2nd Place Overall and Best Color Guard in Finals at the USBands competition this past weekend in Liberty Hill! They also won 2nd in their class in prelims along with Best Visual, General Effect, Percussion and Color Guard!!

Last week the PE classes participated in the National Guard SWAG Challenge. Their efforts were outstanding, even impressing the Coordinators and National Guard Officers. Thanks to Jill Castillo for helping set this up.
