Our annual Hoot n Holler Sprint Invitational took place on Saturday at the YMCA. We competed against 7 other schools all varying in size and division. It was a busy day with EDC competing in area and 9 of our team members in the EDC, I wasn't sure how the day was going to go. Your Bulldogs took 3rd place overall! We had some great swims and relays throughout the day and all teams had fun!!! Our team was not only stellar in the pool, but showed awesome sportsmanship and helped out some of our competitors during the relays, I was really proud of their character. Their Spirit, Pride, and Honor was outstanding! Standout swims: Witch Hat Relay 2nd place (LaJoie, K., Messer, J., McCrory, A., Griego, M.); Katelyn La Joie 2nd place 100 Free; Maczimus Griego 3rd place 100 Free; Avery McCrory 1st place 100 IM; Jordan Messer 2nd place 50 Free, Broomstick Relay 1st place (La Joie, K., McCrory, A., Huston, J., Messer, J.); Katelyn La Joie 1st place 200 Free; Sweatshirt Relay 3rd place ( Kirby, B., Crawford, D., Huston, J., Horan, Z.); Avery McCrory 3rd place 50 Breast; Frog Feet Relay 1st place (Kirby, B.; Crawford, D., Griego, M., Billock, L., Horan, Z.) Lots of great times from everyone, the girls team placed 2nd overall, and the boys team (only 3 of them) placed 4th!
