August 26 is Women's Independence/Equality Day
Today we celebrate Women’s Equality Day! August 26 marks the anniversary of the certification of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote. At Burnet CISD, we honor the trailblazers who paved the way and recognize the strength, leadership, and contributions of women in our schools and community. Together, we continue working toward a future of opportunity and equality for all.
