Dangers of Drugs Emergency department nurse, Linda Dutil from Waterville, Maine, came to talk to our students about the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco and to help them understand the consequences of poor choices.
Who's Got Spirit, Pride and Honor? Congratulations to Coach Shelly Jones for being this week's Spirit, Pride and Honor award winner! She has been working really hard on this year's Pink Out shirts! She has also stepped up to the plate and become a tremendous asset to our AVID program this year! Coach Jones is making an impression on her Volleyball players as well by bringing then together as a more positive and cohesive team!
FFA Homesite and Range Teams are State Bound The Burnet FFA Land, Range and Homesite teams competed at the Area 7Fall CDE this week in Blanco, Texas. We are super proud of all of these students and their efforts. They have worked extremely hard this Fall and it paid off for them. All three teams went up against some tough competition. The Land and Homesite teams are both new teams added this year.

BHS Esprit de Corps Stands Out at USBands Competition! The EDC won 2nd Place Overall and Best Color Guard in Finals at the USBands competition this past weekend in Liberty Hill! They also won 2nd in their class in prelims along with Best Visual, General Effect, Percussion and Color Guard!!
Rehab Trailer Construction Underway! The Burnet High School Agricultural Mechanics classes have been commissioned by J Bar Sanitary Restrooms to construct a mobile REHAB TRAILER that will be a tool that can be used by our Burnet Fire and Rescue Departments for use during critical situations.Completion date is set for Spring of 2019.
