STATE CHAMPS!
Today, the Burnet FFA Wildlife team competed at the State contest held in Junction, Tx. The team qualified for the contest by placing 2nd at Area, held in San Angelo. After the dust settled and awards were handed out, our boys were crowned STATE CHAMPIONS!!! This feat was no easy task as our boys are all first year wildlife judgers, competing against many seasoned veteran teams. There were 49 teams present, and 191 individual competitors. Kaden Sanders was named Reserve State Champion Individual, and received a $500 scholarship. Clayton Atkison was close behind in 4th place. Marc Barnett placed 14th, and Greyson Barnett placed 33rd. Other members of the team include Braeden Howell and Tyler Patterson. Please congratulate these students if you see them.
