Each year, MLK Day is observed as a "day on, not a day off". We are proud to say that this year, we will have over 250 students participating in various services out in the community. All remaining students will be here at school learning about Martin Luther King’s contributions.

BHS Cheerleaders Competed this Past Weekend!

Thank you to the Grinch,Santa, his BETC pals,Band, Choir, Burnet FFA, Interact, NHS, Culinary Arts, the Art Department, Admin, Facilities, Janitorial, Teachers, and the amazing Highlandettes for an incredible 4th Annual BHS Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Many thanks to Backbone Valley Nursery for donating the perfect Tree and our incredible FCCLA Officer group and members for organizing the event.

It is with great pride that we inform you that Clint Mulhollan, as Burnet VFW 6974 winner of the Smart/Maher Teacher of the Year Scholarship for High School level, has now won the Texas VFW District 14 level award. He is now advancing on to the State Level. Way to go Clint!!

Make sure to come see the fall musical, Cinderella, on November 21, 22 or 23 at 7 PM in the HS auditorium.

The BHS FCCLA and Culinary Arts would like to invite you to put an ornament on the BHS Christmas Tree that will be on display in the courtyard at the high school on Tuesday, December 3rd from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

The SPH Leadership Crew, which is comprised of our Senior leaders, have been hard at work building Spirit Pride and Honor at BHS.
