Students will now begin school on August 17th and end on May 28th, and staff development days throughout the school year will be clearly designated on the calendar as subject to become student make-up days. Should make-up time be needed, the District will communicate with families as early as possible regarding required attendance on those days. The Administration is also working to finalize plans to lengthen the instructional day by approximately 15 minutes. These changes together would allow for just over 3 weeks' worth of make-up time without the need to continue school into June 2021. Official school start and end times will be announced by the beginning of July. A copy of the approved calendar is attached.
