The Rotary Club of Burnet is proud to recognize Jazmine Castillo as the BHS Student of the Month for September.

All Burnet CISD campuses will dismiss school 3 hours early on Friday, September 28 to provide teachers the time to plan for the second six weeks curriculum.

Members of the BHS Volleyball Team and Varsity Football Team were true examples this past week of Spirit, Pride, and Honor.

Dr. Sean de Vega, our new English 4 DC teacher, is this week's Spirit, Pride, Honor award winner! He goes out of his way to support students in and out of the classroom! In fact, he had never been to a football game until he came to Burnet! He hasn't missed a game yet!! Thanks for all you do Dr. de Vega!!

Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrars, Sharol Lovett and Aurora Sanchez, assist students with filling out their Voter Registration cards. They helped register over 40 new voters who will be ready to vote come election time in November!!

Congratulations to History teacher Diane Woods for winning this week's Spirit, Pride, Honor Award!! She was the first teacher to reach her goal...knowing all of her student's names and something about each one of them!
Nice job Mrs. Woods!!!
