Congratulations to Gabriella Garza and Creedin Schmidt, BHS Students of the Month!

Gabriella Garza has been a dedicated student in the Culinary Arts program throughout all four years of high school. In addition to her work in Culinary, she was a member of HOSA during her freshman and sophomore years and has been an active member of FCCLA for all four years. Gabriella also explored multiple pathways within CTE, completing three years of Digital Media and a Child Development class.

In her senior year, she served as the FCCLA Fundraising Officer and proudly represented her chapter by competing in the Baking and Pastry competition at the FCCLA Region V Conference. She has also spent significant time giving back through community service projects with FCCLA and supporting various catering events through the Culinary Arts program.

After graduation, Gabriella plans to attend Texas State University to pursue a degree in Economics. With her degree, she hopes to become a financial advisor or auditor.

Gabriella is a hardworking, well-rounded student who has made a lasting impact through her leadership, service, and dedication to her career and technical education.

Creedin Schmidt has been an outstanding student in the Culinary Arts program throughout all four years of high school. In addition to his dedication to Culinary, he has also explored Welding for one year and Woodshop for another. He has been actively involved in the FFA program for two years, serving as a sound range judge during his time.

Creedin has been a part of BETC for two years and has participated in a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including One Act Play, UIL, school musicals, and theater production. He has taken on leadership roles such as Head of Construction and Stage Manager. Additionally, he has been an active member of FCCLA for the past two years. This year, he proudly represented his chapter by competing in the Culinary Arts category at the FCCLA Region V Conference.

After graduation, Creedin plans to attend Texas State Technical College to pursue a degree in Diesel Equipment Technician. 

Creedin is known as a hardworking leader who never hesitates to step up and help whenever needed. His positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to support others have made a lasting impact on both his peers and teachers.
