BCISD Volunteer Appreciation Reception

BHS is proud to announce that Kim Biggerstaff is our Volunteer of the Year!! Kim has dedicated her time across the district by taking pictures for various events. She also gives her time to the Esprit De Corps by both working in and coordinating the concession stand for football games, volunteering for marching contests, coordinating meals, designing shirts, building the website and serving as an EDC officer. She is also the president of the Highlandette Booster Club where she helps coordinate events such as the Nutcracker and Spring Show. For Spring Show, she develops and executes the decorations for the lobby, works with Highlandette moms to provide meals for 50 plus students, and she designs, builds and creates the Spring Show program. Kim is dedicates herself to serving other within the community as well. She has the biggest heart and brings joy to every room she enters. Hats off to you, Kim! Thank you for all you do!

BHS Choir Makes History

On Tuesday, April 11th the Burnet High School Choir program was busy making history at its first appearance at UIL Concert & Sight Reading since 2009. Both the Varsity Treble Choir & Tenor/Bass Choir performed with musicality, poise, and professionalism on stage, and in the sight reading room.

Lady Dawg All District Awards!

The team made history in Burnet, Texas for girls soccer. Thank you SO much for the constant support throughout the is a season that they will never forget. The girls are already counting down to next season.

Headed to State!!

Congratulations to Zaida Freeman! She is the Class 4A Region III Girls Tennis Singles Silver Medalist and is advancing to State!

Burnet FFA members competed at the Region 2 Wildlife CDE event in San Angelo, TX!

Burnet FFA was crowned Area Champs, finishing 2nd overall in the Region, qualifying them for the State contest to be held next Tuesday! Please congratulate these kids as you see them and wish them luck for next week!
