FCCLA students travelled to the FCCLA State Leadership Conference April 12-14.

Abby Gatlin competed in Focus on Children.
Elaina Alexander-Mabrey competed in Early Childhood Education. 
Nadahlia Bennett competed in Early Childhood Education placing 3rd! 

Each student spent countless hours over the last few months preparing to compete at the State Leadership Conference. They each participated in their best abilities.

Robyn Massey competed at HOSA State competition this past week and she did amazing! Her hard work and dedication throughout the year ended with Robyn earning 8th place at state in Physical Therapy. Words cannot express how proud I am of Robyn, she has set the bar high for future HOSA students. If you see Robyn please congratulate her!

Due to predicted, lingering challenges from the April 8th solar eclipse, Tuesday, April 9th is now a staff and student holiday along with Monday, April 8. Staff and students will return to school on Wednesday, April 10. At the high school level, no practices or rehearsals will be held on Monday, April 8, but practices and rehearsals will be held on Tuesday, April 9 on a modified schedule as determined by the Coach or Director.

Her term will begin at the May 20 – 21, 2024 Visionary Committee meeting in Austin, TX and will conclude in the spring of 2027.
