Victor Aviles
Victor is a young man who truly embodies our school’s motto of Spirit, Pride, and Honor. He not only excels in all that he does, but also carries with him a genuine love for learning—a quality that sets him apart and drives him to reach new heights.
With a dream to attend the University of Texas, major in mechanical engineering, and compete on their cross country and track team, Victor exemplifies spirit through the relentless pursuit of his goals. His participation on our cross country and track teams and his active membership in the National Honor Society showcase his dedication and passion for success.
His pride is evident in his academic achievements, having maintained straight A’s throughout high school. Victor isn’t afraid to put in the hard work necessary to succeed. That determination paid off when he won the 800-meter state title during his sophomore year—a victory that not only filled our school with pride but also set a new school record that still stands today.
This young man’s honor is reflected in his unwavering commitment to excellence. Whether he’s in the classroom, on the track, or serving our school community, he approaches every challenge with integrity and dedication.

Adriana Briggs
Adriana is a student who exemplifies our school’s motto of Spirit, Pride, and Honor in every aspect of her life. This exceptional student not only excels academically and athletically, but she also stands out for her genuine kindness toward others and the integrity she brings to everything she does.
With her sights set on Texas A&M University—where she has already submitted her application—she plans to major in Wildlife and Fishery Management with the goal of becoming a Game Warden. This aspiration is a testament to her deep love for nature and her desire to protect and preserve it for future generations.
Throughout high school, she has been involved in a wide range of activities that reflect her spirit and commitment. She has taken on leadership roles as the treasurer of the National Honor Society, competed in UIL Social Studies, participated in AVID and Interact, and even joined the new flag corps. On top of all this, she is a three-sport varsity athlete, excelling in soccer, cross country, and track.
Her pride in her work is evident in her academic achievements. She holds an impressive GPA and is ranked towards the top part of her class. This success is not only a result of her natural talent but also a testament to her grit and determination. She is not afraid to put in the hard work necessary to reach her goals, and she does so with a genuine love for learning.
But what truly sets her apart is her kindness and the integrity she demonstrates in every aspect of her life. She consistently treats others with respect and compassion, making a positive impact on everyone she encounters.
