Jacy Shelburn

I have worked at Burnet High School as the Secretary to the Assistant Principals since the 2020-2021 school year. I graduated from Burnet High School in 2004.  I completed a Dental Assisting program and began working as a Dental Assistant in 2006.  In 2009 I transitioned my role as a Dental Assistant and began working with the administrative team as a treatment and financial coordinator.  In this role, I served our patients by assisting them with scheduling needed dental treatment or surgeries and helped them to find the best financial option available within their budget in order to comfortably move forward with their recommended treatment plan.  I worked a total of 13 years within the dental field. 
 
My husband Seth and I have been married for 16 years and we have 2 precious children.  Our daughter Adely is 10 years old and our son Quinton is 7 years old.  As a family, we enjoy going on trips together and visiting our favorite spots around the hill country.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, journaling, and relaxing just about anywhere outdoors (near water in this TX heat of course).  I am so happy to be apart of this great community and honored to serve at BCISD.  GO BULLDOGS!!
