Burnet CISD will be closed Monday, November 23 – Friday, November 27, 2020 for Thanksgiving Break. All campuses and offices will resume normal operating hours on Monday, November 30.

Burnet High School Theatre (BETC) is proud to present Metamorphoses by Mary Zimmerman on Thursday, November 19 - Saturday, November 21 at BHS Auditorium at 7 PM.

BHS Culinary Arts was invited to cook for troops and their families returning home from overseas deployment as a welcome home. Operation Standing Strong was organized by Cowboys 4 Heroes.

On Thursday, October 15th the Burnet FFA Land, Range and Homesite teams competed at the Area 7 Fall CDE in Blanco, Texas.

Don't forget to vote for all contests, including the Burnet CISD School Board Election which is at the very end of the ballot.

October 13-16 is Education Go Get in Week and BHS has a lot going on! Students will be participating in career surveys, PSAT testing, SAT School Day, college acceptance celebrations, military information and much more!

How do you make poetry fun and utilize new technology? BHS Pre-AP English students use technology in their class to analyze poetry and dialogue with the actual poets in Mrs. McLeod’s class.
