Rotary Student of the Month

Jazmine consistently demonstrates that she is a multi-talented young lady of high moral character.  She is a strong leader and consistently maintains high standards for herself both academically and personally.

Jazmine is a hard worker with a servant heart.  This past summer she volunteered to serve on the staff for the Rotary sponsored RYLA leadership camp.  She has also been active in planning and participating in several other service related projects such as Soles4Soles, Haiti Outreach, La Care and Salvation Army Kettle Drive.

Jazmine has proven to be a valuable asset to the National Honor Society, Interact and HOSA organizations here at Burnet High School.  She has served and/or is serving as an officer in Interact, HOSA, Bulldog Crew and National Art Honor Society.  Off campus she is currently volunteering her time as a Den Mother in the Cub Scouts.

Jazmine is active in UIL academics winning district honors in Oral Interpretation and regional honors in Spelling.  She has competed at the regional level in HOSA qualifying for state alternate.  Additionally, Jazmine has been very successful in many regional, state and national level art contests.

Jazmine’s future goals include graduating from BHS as valedictorian and leaving her mark in the various arenas of competition in which she has competed.  Next Fall she plans to attend college.  Her top picks at this time include Rice, Stanford and Yale to pursue a degree in Biochemistry.

Jazmine is a young lady who can be counted on to come through with whatever responsibility given.  She is very giving of her time and her talents.  “Service Above Self” embodies who Jazmine is as a person.
