From Coach McBurnett:
This past Friday, January 23rd, our BHS Swimming and Diving Team competed at the district swim meet in Belton. Both our Men's and Women's teams did a wonderful job, with our Men's team finishing as the district runner-up and our Women's team placing 3rd out of 7.
Each swimmer did a great job shaving time and we walked away with a lot of hardware including 1st place finishes in the following events:
Boys 200 Medley Relay
Boys 50 Freestyle
Boys 1 Meter Diving
Boys 500 Freestyle
Boys 200 Freestyle Relay
Girls 400 Freestyle Relay
They worked very hard all season, arriving at the YMCA every morning at 6:15 AM for practice and giving full effort all school year. If you see any of our swimmers or divers, please be sure to give them a huge congratulations.
