The BHS Symphonic Band under the direction of Jacob Picht, earned first place in Area Central HS Non-Varsity March and has advanced to STATE!!!
The BHS Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Joseph Cox, earned first place in Area Central Class 4A March and has advanced to STATE!!!
The BHS Wind Ensemble has also advanced to the STATE Semifinals for 4A TMEA Honor Band!!! Winning Honor Band is the highest honor a concert band can earn and they can only submit every other year. In both competitions, the state judging is held at the Texas Bandmasters Association Convention in late July.
We are very proud of the hard work and effort that our amazing students put forth this past spring to be state and national level competitive!
