From David Trower:
I am thrilled to share some exciting news about our Burnet Esports Pokémon Unite squad – they've conquered the semi-finals beating the number two seeded Royse City High School's team, RCHS Bulldogs Gold (Pokemon U) 2-0 last night. They are now gearing up for the Pokémon Unite Central Division Finals! This remarkable achievement places them in a showdown against the fierce number one seed Stafford MSD team from Stafford, Texas, the SHS Pokémon Squad, on Thursday, December 14 at 6:30 PM.
The battleground may be virtual, but the stakes are very real. The winner of this epic clash will be the division champions, and our Burnet Esports team is poised to leave it all on the digital battlefield.
During the regular season, we faced the SHS Pokémon Squad once during week 1, unfortunately coming up short. But this is our moment of redemption, a chance to rewrite the narrative. The SHS Pokémon Squad boasts a perfect record, making them a formidable opponent, but I have complete faith in the skill, strategy, and heart of our Burnet Esports Pokémon Unite squad.
This will undoubtedly be a tough fight, but let's rally behind our team as they prepare for this showdown of champions. Their journey to the finals is a testament to their dedication, resilience, and exceptional gaming prowess.
Congratulations to our Burnet Esports Pokémon Unite squad on reaching the finals, and let's unleash a wave of Burnet pride as they vie for the championship title! If you see Alejandra Garcia, Brendon Gideon, Cody Murders, Alex Proctor, Richard "Bear" Williams, and Jesus Sanchez, please make sure to congratulate them on their hard fought win in the semi-finals.
