This past Friday our soccer season came to an end to a very talented Boerne team in the Regional Quarterfinals. We fell short to the 2022 state semifinalist 3-2. These girls left every single thing on the field as they were down 3-0 until the last 10 minutes of the match . Ameila Griffin scored our first goal with an assist by Lainey Rye and Kaycie Banton scored the 2nd with an assist by Caroline Valencia. You truly can not ask for more heart from a team. They could have given up, and they kept on playing and fighting until the very last whistle.
The Lady Dawgs ended the year 24-3, the best record to date.
12-0 in District play- Undefeated District Champs
Scored 149 goals and only gave up 19.
We are losing 5 incredible seniors that have set the bar high the last 4 years and have given everything they possibly can to this program. We are so grateful for the time and effort they have put in.
We will be returning 16 varsity players next season. These girls are hungry and are not satisfied, and I promise you they will be back!
