Last Friday (3/17/23) we took Abby Smith and Maddi Moise to compete at the Girls State Powerlifting Meet in Frisco, Texas. Abby, a three time State Qualifier, had a great day hitting new PRs in her squat, deadlift, and total. She finished the day in 7th place! Maddi is a first time State Qualifier this year, and hit new PRs in squat, bench, deadlift, and total. She finished the day in 11th place. Both girls competed and represented Burnet well! We could not be more proud of how they finished off their powerlifting season. Coach Couch and myself are extremely blessed to coach such a great group of lifters this season and we can't wait to see what next year brings!
