On March 9th your Burnet Bulldogs traveled to Llano for an abbreviated version of the Jacket Relays!
After adapting to an adjusted schedule, our boys overcame and definitely shined.
In the overall team standings the Varsity squad finished 5th out of 11 teams while the JV took 2nd!
Individual Highlights:
Pole Vault-
Both Brady Rygarrd and Braden Hill hit their PRs with a vault of 14'! Rygarrd walked away with the gold medal due to fewer attempts.
Unbelievable evening for both these boys.
JV Pole Vaulter Payton Shirley wasn't also finished 1st and set a new PR at 12'.
Our distance runners continue to do the heavy lifting for us. Once again, we were paced by an outstanding night from Victor Aviles. He was able sweep both the 1600 & 3200 meters.
