This weekend we hosted the first ever Bulldog Classic! We had 11 different teams come out and compete Thursday- Saturday. Coach Suarez and I are SO grateful for all the help we had across the board to make our tournament run smoothly! THANK YOU!
The Lady Dawgs came out and won the tournament!!!
Thursday we started the tournament off play the Taylor Ducks- we won 4-0 . Brook Oliva scored 2 goals, and Caroline Valencia and Taylor Petty each got themself a goal. Assists by Reagan Shipley and Mekayla Johnson/
Thursday night we played Pflugerville Connally and walked away with a 2-1 win. Brook Oliva scored both goals assisted by Taylor Petty and Caroline Valencia.
Friday we played Canyon Randall from Amarillo. We tied 1-1 in regulation-Kaycie Banton got the goal. We took them to PKS where we won! This ensured we were in the semi finals as we won our bracket!
Saturday we had the semi final game vs Greenwood from Midland who was first in their bracket. We came out hot and won 4-0. Caroline Valencia started us off assisted by Reagan Shipley. Brook Oliva got 2 assisted by Caroline Valencia, and Haylie Bartlett also got a goal assisted by Caroline Valencia
Championship Game was VS San Angelo Lakeview. We came out and won 2-0! Kaycie Banton got a goal assisted by Brook Oliva and Brook Oliva got our second goal assisted by Kaycie Banton.
Our defense and goalie, Juliet Morales played well this weekend only giving up 2 goals total!
This brings the Lady Dawgs to 11-0 with one week left of Pre Season! We play Wimberley tomorrow there and are home VS Brownwood on Friday!
