Friday night (10/21), our Lady Dawgs sealed a District Championship at Georgetown Gateway!! The girls came out on fire and won the first two sets. The third set was just as much a nail biter as the first two, but things didn't go our way. The fourth set was a lot of back and forth with the lead and truly an incredible fight! Our Lady Dawgs played together and put on a show! We are so proud of this great accomplishment!! They have all worked very hard for this so please give them a big congratulations when you see them!!!
Our JV girls lost a tough one in three sets. They had one of their best games all year and it was a hard one to lose. Everyone played so well and we were able to have some of our freshman team help out due to Gateway not having enough to play a third team.
All three teams have one more district game remaining. It will be at home vs Jarrell (Senior/Parent night) on Tuesday with 9th/JV playing at 5 and Varsity following at 6.
