Lago Vista came to town 10/4 to play the Burnet Bulldog tennis team for the district championship. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs fell short in the match, losing 7-12.
After the doubles round, Lago Vista held a 4-3 lead and were able to gather enough singles wins to make it to the necessary 10 points. Several competitive matches were pushed to third set tie breakers, but not enough fell our way.
Finishing 2nd in district has us playing Cameron Yoe in the bi-district round of the playoffs. This will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 11 with the location and time still to be finalized.
