Congratulations to the Burnet IRON DAWGS BBQ Team!

They competed this weekend at Connally High School and placed 4th overall! The team includes: Eliza Proctor, Sean Woods, Knox Ward , Jaxon Gonzales, and Lyndon Scott.

Senior - Jaxon Gonzales - 1st Place in the Burger Category
Freshman - Lyndon Scott - 1st Place in the Steak Category and got his first PERFECT SCORE of the season!

All five Burnet High School BBQ Teams are headed to the State Championship held here at Burnet High School May 7th, next Saturday.

We invite you to COME EAT OUR HOMEWORK and cheer these students on as they qualify for the first National High School BBQ Championship.
