Hello Bulldog Fans,
As you know, Burnet CISD recently announced the decision to close all school campuses for Tuesday 9/7 and Wednesday 9/8 due to spikes in student and staff COVID cases. The BCISD shut down includes a hold on all extracurricular practices and events on 9/7 and 9/8. With the inability to conduct football practices on 9/7 and 9/8, and with a number of BHS football players being affected by COVID, BCISD has made the decision to cancel the varsity football game vs. Boerne HS scheduled for Friday night 9/10. Any tickets previously purchased for this event will be refunded through the Burnet Athletic Office.
Additionally, with the inability to conduct football practices on 9/7 and 9/8, BCISD has made the decision to cancel all sub-varsity football games vs. Boerne HS scheduled for Thursday night 9/9, and all middle school football games vs. Llano MS also scheduled for Thursday night 9/9.
As of now, all other BCISD athletic practices and events are scheduled to resume on Thursday 9/9. Any other subsequent cancellations will be communicated as needed. Any questions in regard to Burnet athletic events can be directed to the Burnet Athletic Office (512-756-4501).
