Burnet High School welcomes Joni Patterson as the new BHS Assistant Principal. Mrs. Patterson holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Texas State University. She has a heart and passion for students and can often be found tutoring students after school and on weekends. She uses a team approach and works collaboratively with staff. Her peers have recognized her leadership and have elected her as the Area 3 Representative for the Future Business Leaders of America State Board. Mrs. Patterson understands the systems and history here at Burnet High School. She has worked as a Business and Accounting teacher at BHS for the past 12 years and has completed a principal internship at BHS. She describes herself as one who seeks change and excellence. Her desire for change and improvement, (while understanding Burnet, where we have been, and what our vision is) will guide her decision making process.
