Meg Ross

Hello! My name is Meg Ross, and I am thrilled to join the Burnet High School faculty this year teaching Algebra II and PreCalculus.

 

I bring over 20 years of experience in Texas schools as a mathematics teacher, curriculum writer, and college-readiness coordinator. My goal is to make math accessible, engaging, and meaningful for all of my students while helping them build the problem-solving skills they need for the future.

 

For my educational background, I hold a Master of Secondary Education from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Texas Tech University. Wreck 'Em!

 

On a personal note, my family and I recently moved to Horseshoe Bay from the Dallas area. My husband, David, and I have three wonderful children: Emily, Carter, and Kevin. When I am not in the classroom, you will almost always find us out on the lake enjoying our favorite activities together—boating, fishing, and paddle boarding!

 

I am looking forward to a fantastic school year.
