Shannon Minton

I'm excited to be part of the Burnet High School administrative team! I was previously in Marble Falls as an assistant principal for 4 years. The 2025-26 school year will be my 5th year as an administrator and my 24th year in education. I began teaching secondary math in 2001 before becoming an instructional coach in 2021. With the exception of 1 year in Savanna, OK, all of my educational career has been in the Central Texas area. I earned a BA in Secondary Mathematics from Schreiner University in 2001. I also earned an M.Ed in Educational Technology from Texas State University in 2012 and an M.Ed in Educational Leadership from Concordia in 2019.
