Julie Rogers - US History

Hello, my name is Julie Rogers. This will be my fifth year as a teacher. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2022 with a degree in history, and a minor in secondary education. I taught Texas History in middle school for two years before Burnet. I have a passion for history, and strive to pass that on to my students.

 

I am married, and have two dogs Conway (Aussie) and Kona (Lab). I love to spend time with my husband usually doing some type of outdoor activity with our dogs. My hobbies are reading, painting, drawing, and gardening. (please let me know if you have any tips. I am new to gardening, and I can hardly keep my plants alive!) 

 

I am very excited to be with BCISD, and cannot wait to meet my students and their parents. Let's have a good year! Go Dawgs!
