Glenda Smith

This is my first year at Burnet High School.  I am super excited to be here. I have 3 grandkids already in the district and 2 more coming up.  I also have 2 great nephews and a great niece.  Looking forward to a great first year and many more to come. Go Bulldogs!

I have worked in education going on 20 years which I started in Manor ISD where all three of my children graduated from.  When my youngest graduated 2014 I stayed in Manor for a few more years then went to Liberty Hill ISD for 6.5 years.  I worked in a classroom for 1.5 as an instructional aide and then started my career in the office. I have been Sub Coordinator, Attendance Clerk, PEIMS Clerk, and Registrar.  I was a stay-at-home mom/aunt for 16 years and enjoyed every minute with them.  I was always very active with my 3 kids in all their sports and other extracurricular activities.  Now I’m a Gigi of 8 and I love being involved in all that they do.
