Michael Ollman
Mr.Ollman joined the staff at Burnet High School as the Director of Percussion in 2023 to begin his 6th year of teaching percussion. Before coming to Burnet, he taught at Frisco ISD as the assistant percussion director at Panther Creek High School and for two years as a percussion clinician at various schools in Houston, TX.
Mr.Ollman is originally from Atlanta, GA where he received his degree in percussion performance from Kennesaw State University and began his teaching career as the Director of Percussion at Wheeler High School and East Cobb Middle School.
Outside of teaching high school and middle school percussion, Michael has been involved with DCI and WGI for a decade as a performer or educator. Most recently, Mr.Ollman taught the front ensemble at Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps, Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps, and Rhythmic Force Indoor Percussion.
Outside of work Mr.Ollman enjoys watching sports, cooking, going to church, and spending time with his dog Loki.
