Meet the Librarian
My name is Sandy Brandon, and I am honored to serve as the librarian at my alma mater.
This is my 25th year in education, and I am passionate about helping students discover the joy of reading, develop strong research skills, and become lifelong learners.
As a proud Burnet High School graduate, it is especially meaningful to return to the school that helped shape my own educational journey. I earned my bachelor's degree from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) and my master's degree from the University of North Texas.
When I'm not in the library, you'll usually find me with a good book or working on a junk journal. I believe stories have the power to spark imagination, build empathy, and inspire curiosity.
