Crystal Shipley

I am so excited for my 21st year in education! I have been working for Burnet CISD for 20 years and this is my sixth year at the High School. This year, I am excited to be the Girls' Athletic Coordinator. I will be teaching AVID 1 and 4 and I am also the head volleyball and girls' track coach. 

I graduated from McMurry University in Abilene, TX in 2003 with a major in Exercise and Sports Studies and a minor in Criminal Justice. 

I have a loving husband, Steven, who teaches at Quest High School. We have four kiddos: Ryan (20), Reese (18), Reagan (18) and Calan (15). We love being on the lake, taking family vacations and cheering on each other in our extracurricular activities.  

I love my job and how it allows me to teach young people about college and their futures through AVID. I have a passion for helping them set goals and striving to achieve them! In athletics, I am blessed to teach young ladies about volleyball and track and instill in them the hard work it takes to be a champion!
