Cheere Behrendt

Having lived in this great community for nine years, it is with GREAT excitement that I can call Burnet “HOME” once again.   It is such a blessing to be apart of the exceptional team at BHS and serve the faculty as their instructional coach. 

This is my 28th year in education.  The majority of this time has been spent teaching history in middle school; however, the last several years have brought valuable experience teaching AVID at a national demonstration site, serving in the role of an interventionist, and most recently supporting teachers and campus as an instructional coach.  

I am a proud wife of 35 years to Brad, mother of our 32-year-old daughter Kali who is also in the field of education, and a dog mom to 3 Yorkies Mollie, Missy, and Myla.   In addition to my family, I love being a Burnet Bulldog and avid Texas Longhorn fan! (Hook "Em!) Being a native of West Texas, I am grateful to live in the beautiful Hill Country.  I also enjoy reading, golfing, traveling, decorating, shopping, and spending time with friends.
