Congratualtions to Coach Ware for being chosen as the November Gem of the Month at BHS! Coach Ware has gone above and beyond as a coach and teacher, especially during this difficult time. He has worked the long hours of coaching football, while continuing to be a rockstar in the classroom for his in-person and remote learners.

As all of us here at BHS know, it is not uncommon for Sherry to help a struggling student who needs an extra boost of confidence. However, Sherry was the first person from BHS to be nominated by a source outside of the district! She was nominated as a Gem by Staff Sgt. Woody after he heard from a student about all the time and effort she has put in to helping him achieve his life-long dream. Congratulations Sherry!

Jane has a wealth of knowledge about BCISD as well as the students who attend. She does a masterful job at daily-Capturing Kid's Hearts and building relationships. Jane builds the Master Schedule which in itself is enough for a nomination! She continuously goes out of her way to help others and is such a great asset to this school district.
Jane truly represents a Gem!
