This last week was a busy one for the Lady Dawgs. Varsity and JV started district off strong last Tuesday VS Austin Achieve. JV won 5-1 and Varsity walked away with a 7-0 win! Amelia Griffin led the dawgs with 3 goals and an assist.Kaycie Banton had 2 goals and 2 assists. Ari Chavez had a goal and an assist. Taylor Petty had a goal. Savannah Griffin and Emily Wagner also had an assist.
Friday Varsity made the drive to Florence to take on The Buffaloes. They snagged a 2nd district win 3-0. Kaycie Banton had 2 goals. Amelia Griffin scored a goal and had an assist, and Taylor Petty had an assist

Thursday JV traveled to Salado to compete in The Salado Classic. They won their first game 5-0 VS Bastrop B. They had a tough game VS Midlothian Heritage that afternoon where they lost 5-0. They were able to play for 3rd on Saturday VS Bastrop A. They tied 1-1 and WON in PKS!!! We are so proud of our JV and the growth they are showing every single day.
This week we will play Jarrell away on Tuesday night- this will be a district game. We will play Wimberley at home Friday night -- this is not a district game, but should be a good game!
