Carleigh has been an active NHS member since her sophomore year. She continually shines in the four pillars on which the National Honor Society exemplifies: scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Carleigh earns grades that are exceptional, but more than that, she strives to truly understand the concepts rather than just make the marks. Carleigh is a main leader in her classes and across the campus; she is there to set an example ,and help others along the way. Carleigh is truly a young lady of character; she displays integrity, kindness, determination, grit and other not often seen traits everyday in all she does. Carleigh goes above and beyond in serving her school and community; she truly is a servant leader- even when she is busy, she finds the time to help, volunteer and serve.
Carleigh is not only NHS Activity Chair, but she is involved in Student Council, Athletic Training, Powerlifting and AVID. She is a leader in her class and on campus.
After graduation, Carleigh plans to attend Texas A&M. During college, she plans to get her EMT license and work part-time as she works towards her goal of being a trauma nurse. No matter what Carleigh sets her goals to, I know she will not only meet but will exceed these goals. The wonderful qualities that Carleigh has exemplified here at BHS, I know will grow as she becomes a servant leader in this world.
