From Coach Gerfers:
This past Friday (10/13/23) we had our 3rd meet of the season. We took on Wimberly high school in the pool and LASA on the diving boards! Wimberly only had a girls team so the BHS mens team got to race one another in every event. some notable swims from the boys were:
Levi Kleen's 6:10.37, 500 free
Luciuz Greigo's 1:11.68, 100 back
The BHS girls swam really well too, but ended up losing with a final score of 543-234. Some notable swims on the girls side were:
Graciella Lara Duran's 29.59, 50 Free and a first place finish for our girls A 200 free relay with a time of 2:12.84
Our divers Julia Jenkins and Leslie Camacho dove really well doing their harder dive list at this meet. Julia finished 4th with 119 points and Leslie unfortunately was disqualified due to failing more than 1 dive.
We have a long road ahead of us to February, thank you for all the continuous support!
