The Burnet tennis team traveled to Georgetown yesterday (10/10/23) to play Cameron Yoe in the bi-district round of the team tennis playoffs. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs fell to Cameron 7-12, ending our fall team tennis season.
The doubles round ended with the Bulldogs at a 3-4 deficit and the singles matches didn't bring the necessary 7 wins that would have secured a victory.
Over the course of the season, we have seen several brand new tennis players participate in matches for us at the varsity level, with many of them winning matches and scoring points for the team! Coach Myhre and myself are proud of the work the players have put in this season and we are pleased with some of the growth that we've seen.
