The Burnet Tennis team opened up district play with a win last night, 15-4 against the Salado Eagles! Of the 18 matches played, 8 went to 3rd sets to determine the outcome.
The Bulldogs jumped out early, winning all six of the doubles matches that were played. The success continued into singles play. All six girls won their singles matches and the boys split, winning three. It was a great way to start district play! We are very proud of the way the athletes are progressing and improving in areas of focus!
Next week the Bulldogs continue district play against Lago Vista, last year's district champs.
