From Coach Shipley
This weekend our Varsity Lady Dawgs traveled to Bay City to compete in the Tournament on the Bay. The girls competed well and are growing as a team! They finished at 3-3 on the weekend. We won our pool to place us in the gold bracket! We won the first but fell short in the last two matches. We were able to face some strong teams from all over the state.
This trip allowed relationships to grow, trust to build and memories to last a lifetime!
I am so thankful for two outstanding assistant coaches (Coach Kelley and Coach Eaton)! They do so much for me and our program and they deserve a shoutout! I would also like to say thank you to all of our amazing parents - we truly are blessed! Many of our parents send us off with snacks for the road and during tournaments.
All three teams will travel to Davenport (San Antonio) on Tuesday: 9th/JV starts at 5 and Varsity will follow around 6 pm. We would love to have you there!
