Congratulations to our Retirees, Brandy Wood and Diane Woods!

Brandy Wood is retiring after 30 years in education. She spent the first 26 years teaching High School math and coaching, and the last 4 years she has served as a High School Academic Counselor. Building relationships is her passion, and in the two years she has been at Burnet High School, she has built relationships with students, parents, and staff. Brandy embodies the district's theme, "You were born to shine." She is a bright light for students and will be missed. We wish her well in her future endeavors!

Diane Woods has been in education for 21 years. She left the history classroom two years ago to be the Burnet High School Instructional Interventionist helping struggling students set goals and realize success. Although she loved her content area, as an Interventionist she was able to focus on what she loved most about being an educator -- the students! Diane has been an asset to so many students and to Burnet High School.  She will be missed by the students and staff. We wish her well as she begins her next adventure.
