From Coach Speer:
Yesterday, your Bulldogs traveled to Pieper High School and competed in the Warrior Relays. Once again, they were asked to battle through rain delays and canceled field events, but they persevered and got it done.
Overall Varsity finished 4th and the JV 7th.
Individual Performances:
- Victor Aviles continued his dominance of the track this season placing 2nd in the 3200m, 800m, and then wrapping up a 26 point day winning the 1600m.
- Hudson Bennett continues to make his way back to full strength winning the 3200m.
- Isaias Zarate had a double PR yesterday finishing 4th in the 3200m & 5th in the 1600m.
- Grant Jones placed 4th in the 200m and anchored the 4x200 Relay that finished 3rd.
- Colton Sanford a new PR in the 200m and finished 5th.
- Varsity 4x200 Relay 3rd Place: Khris Kassner, Colton Sanford, Garner Krause, & Grant Jones
- JV 4x200 Relay 2nd Place: Aden Sanchez, Brody Danson, Matthew Williams, & Demetrius Taliaferro.
- JV 4x100 3rd Place: Aden Sanchez, Brody Danson, Matthew Williams, & Demetrius Taliaferro.
- The Throwers Relay had a great time competing and placed 2nd. Nathan Torres, Tyson Trim, Kalvin Hubbard, & Luke Hudgins. (photo attached)
This week your Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday in Lampasas.
These guys continue to work hard every day in preparation for our district meet starting on April 12.
