The Lady Dawg track teams participated in the Pieper Relays on March 30th. The field events were cancelled due to the intermittent doses of rain. Teams that the Lady Dawgs competed against were: Canyon Lake, Pieper, Navarro, La Vernia, Johnson, Wimberley, & Davenport. The Lady Dawgs competed well and were able to achieve several PR's (personal records) at this meet. The Lady Dawgs also had some runners out due to invite to the Texas Relays where they will participate in the 4x400M Relay on Friday afternoon. Results are as follows:
JV GIRLS'
3200M: Shelby Hudgins, 13:57, 6th place
400M Relay: Payton Smith, Briana Barrios, Ellen Reid, Josie Teague - 56.13, 6th place
100M Hurdles: Bosley Kuker, 18.5, 5th place
400M: Hallie Poe, 1:06.49, 3rd place
200M: Grace Cullison,2nd place; Sarah Cullison,3rd place
4x400M Relay: Sarah Cullison, Brogan Fox, Grace Cullison, Hallie Poe-4:27.28(PR), 1st place
VARSITY GIRLS'
3200M: Shaelyn Poe, 12:53(PR), 4th place; Autumn Stires, 13:04, 5th place; Kori Haile, 13:19, 6th place
4x200M Relay: Journey Denton, Zaria Solis, Adriana Briggs, Jareyli Luna-1:52.1, 4th place
200M: Zaria Solis, 27.9(PR), 5th place
1600M: Shaelyn Poe, 5:52.8, 5th place
The Lady Dawgs will be participating in the Lampasas Meet on April 5th in preparation for their upcoming district meet .
