The BHS Students of the Month for March are Braden Ellett-Clark and Sadie Campbell!

Braden is well deserving of the Student of the Month honor. Braden excels in not only athletics, but academics as well. He is a very well-rounded student and is a natural leader at Burnet High School. Over the last 2 years, he has competed in football, basketball, track and baseball, all while taking care of the classroom. His work ethic and determination to play college football have earned him the opportunity to play D3 College Football at McMurry University in Abilene. I am excited to watch Braden in the future as he will become successful in whatever he chooses! Braden certainly Rides for the Brand!

Sadie has been a huge help to the athletic program by assisting our coaches as a student manager in volleyball and basketball. She works at all practices & games (even on Saturdays). She travels with the team, makes sure we have all gear for the road, and does the scorebook or films games. Although this can be a thankless job the majority of the time, Sadie, on behalf of all the coaches in the athletic department, we collectively want to say, "Thank you!!!"

Sadie has had a very well rounded high school career at BHS:
  • Academic All-District (4 yrs)
  • Academic All-State (1 yr)
  • Top 4.5% of graduating class
  • 4 year Varsity Manager for Volleyball and Basketball
  • Student Council (4 yrs)
  • NHS (3 yrs)
  • HOSA (2 yrs)
  • SPH (1 yr)
This fall, following her high school graduation, Sadie will be attending Texas A&M in College Station where she will work to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She believes that a degree in Biology will be a firm foundation for her future in the medical field. After earning a bachelor’s degree, she plans to further her education by attending either medical school or physical therapy school. Ultimately, Sadie wants to focus on orthopedics and rehabilitation of sports injuries.
