Last Saturday we took 4 of our boy lifters to compete in the Regional Powerlifting Meet in Gatesville, Texas. This meet brings our boys season to a close. Although it is bittersweet, it was nice to end it with such a great showing at Regionals. All 4 of our lifters found ways to better their personal best, and end the season by earning medals! Luke Hudgins went into the day sitting in 10th place and finished 3rd, and Jack VanAartsen also went into the day sitting 11th and found a way to finish 5th! Jose Rodriguez is a four time regional qualifier for us, he caps off his senior year finishing 5th place. Brady Rygaard caps off his first year lifting at a regional meet with a 4th place finish. Coach Couch and myself are extremely proud of how these young men competed. If you see them around make sure to congratulate them!
