Last Friday, March 3, we took 10 girls to the Regional Powerlifting Meet in Dublin, Texas. Our girls had an awesome day with 6 of our 10 qualifiers earning medals and team points! We finished 5th place as a team and qualified two girls for the State Powerlifting meet in Frisco! Abby Smith gets to add Regional Champion to her impressive powerlifting resume! She won her class and clinched her 3rd consecutive trip to State. Maddi Moise placed second and also qualified for State competition. Coach Couch and Myself are extremely proud of how our Girls competed and represented Burnet! State will take place in Frisco over Spring Break, if you see the girls around make sure to congratulate them! Below are final results!
