Last night (2/14) your Lady Dawgs finished first round of district with a big win against Marble Falls! Both teams were undefeated in district, and Marble had not been scored on yet this season in district play.
This group came out with so much heart and fight until the very last minute, literally! Every time Marble Falls scored we answered with a goal. Going into the last 5 minutes of the game we were tied up 3-3. The Lady Dawgs came out and scored 2 goals to ensure a 5-3 win over Marble Falls! This puts us in 1st place coming out of the first round of district! Coach Suarez and myself could not ask for more heart and be more proud of this group!
Brook Oliva had 2 goals and an assist.
Amelia Griffin, Caroline Valencia, and Lainey Rye each had a goal. Julie Suazo had 2 assists, and so did Amelia Griffin!
