Congratulations to January's Rotary Student of the Month, Harlynn Roberts!

Harlynn has served as class treasurer in the Student Council since her freshman year. In addition to student council, she is a member of National Honor Society where she has served as treasurer sophomore through senior years.

Harlynn participates in the AVID program, Spirit Pride and Honor Organization and Academy 4 where she mentors Bertram Elementary students.

She has been active in extracurricular activities as well. She has played volleyball all four years of high school and served as Track Manager her Junior and Senior years.

In addition to her school activities, Harlynn is also active in Burnet Young Life and Texas Eclipse/ Roots Volleyball Club. Harlynn has volunteered countless hours for our community; such as: working the nursery at church, vacation bible school over the summers, special needs prom, helping special needs children ride horses, mentoring young students, coaching youth volleyball, helping with elementary field day and Easter egg hunt.

Harlynn has a full schedule but still finds time to work 2 jobs. She works at Mojo’s where she works before and after school and works as a photographer helping with weddings on the weekends. During the summer she works at Camp Longhorn as a counselor and photographer.

Harlynn is an exemplary student. She has managed a full schedule and continued to maintain all A’s her entire school career. She is always willing to help her peers and the organizations she is involved in. She truly enjoys helping others and exemplifies service above self.

After High School Harlynn plans to attend Texas A&M. She has been accepted into the School of Architecture where she will study environmental design.
